Contract of Apprenticeship Fee

$40 is payable once applicant has successfully completed the application process including interview. Payable to the Minister of Finance in the payment form of a certified cheque or money order only.


WHEN ARE MY FEES DUE?

Upon receiving our invite letter to attend class.

$600 – Drywall Acoustic Mechanic and Lather Apprenticeship
$900 – Drywall Finisher & Plasterer Apprenticeship
$770 – Exterior Insulating Finishing Systems Mechanic (Stucco) Apprenticeship
$250 – Hazardous Material Worker (HAZMAT) Apprenticeship


Payments can be made at IFSTC; methods of payment include: cheque, money order, debit / credit or remit payment via mail in form of cheque or moneyorder to IFSTC.

NOTE: A certified cheque or money order payable to the Ontario College of Trades (OCOT) in the amount of $67.80 ($60+HST) is due at the time of signing the Training Agreement (completed in our office). IFSTC will submit your application and payment via courier to the OCOT’s office directly.


ARE MY IFSTC COURSE FEES TAX DEDUCTIBLE?

No. Your IFSTC course fees are non-tax deductible, however there are various government and trade-association grants that you can research and apply for that will help alleviate the costs associated with course enrollment.
